About Us
A multinational manufacturing company is seeking for an ambitious and experienced procurement and logistics specialists to be based in our office in Limassol, Cyprus:
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Processing quotations and purchase orders for both intercompany and third party suppliers and customers, in a timely and efficient manner
– Liaise and communicate effectively, with suppliers and customers, on a regular and timely manner with the intent of effective execution of business objectives
– Keeping a track and regular reporting on status of open, placed, and in transit purchase orders
– Negotiating and agreeing on
best terms of contracts and purchase orders for the customers
– Following up with the transport department on goods in transit, ensuring their timely delivery, arranging transport when necessary
– Processing invoicing of customers on regular basis as per agreed terms and conditions
– Submitting shipping documents to accounting department on regular basis
– Performing other procurement and logistics related tasks as deemed necessary for business
Skills and knowledge:
– Knowledge in Procurement & Logistics process should be hand in hand; working knowledge of shipping documents and INCOTERMS.
– Must be a good decision maker;
– Good problem-solving and analytical skills;
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills, reporting and commercial analysis skills.
– Being able to work under pressure
– Excellent skills in follow-up, time management, work organization
– Strong skills in using Excel software and experience in using ERP systems
– Knowledge of English is necessary.
Education & Qualifications:
– At least a bachelor’s degree in business or commerce related specialist ion
Candidate requirements:
– Mid-career level
– Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in a multinational company
– Candidate must have proper work permit
