Pharmaceutical Trading is founded within the walls of the medieval city of Famagusta by the pharmacist Andreas Karoullas. Andreas Karoullas was born in 1921, in Famagusta, occupied by Turkish troops. He was among the first pharmacists, first in the medieval city of Famagusta within the walls and after 1958 in the new city that was created next to the old one, he started to make his own medicines. With its establishment, Pharmaceutical Trading Company introduces in Cyprus the first pharmaceutical preparations from Europe.
