IT Systems Administrator – B2Kapital Cyprus Ltd – Nicosia/Limassol, Cyprus

The Company:

The Group operates in Scandinavian, Baltic, Central and Southeast European markets, providing banks and institutional vendors with specialised financial services, including management of Non-Performing Loans (NPLs).

 

The Position: 

B2Kapital Cyprus Ltd is looking to recruit an IT Systems Administrator.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting issues and reporting them via ticketing platform in a timely manner.
• Installing and configuring SW, HW & Network according to Group Best practices.
• Monitoring system performance & Servers health.
• Enforce security of IT infrastructure according to Policies and Procedures of Croup (e.g Password policy, Backup, Security updates etc.).
• Maintain infrastructure operational standards in alignment with Group suggested technologies and solutions (e.g Antivirus solution).
• Participate in developing/enhancing in-house applications.
• Identification of user requirements and translation to technical requirements.
• Travel to other locations of the Company offices, inland or abroad on a weekly basis.

 

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

• University degree in Computer Science or IT related.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-directed and a motivated self-starter.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, both in Greek and English.
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and Linux based).
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2022 and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Office 365.
• Understanding of Information Security
• Knowledge of Programming Languages will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of Databases and T-SQL language will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of WordPress will be considered as an advantage.

 

Location: The position is for the offices of B2Kapital Cyprus Ltd in Nicosia/Limassol, Cyprus
