Job Overview

All members of the Kanika Hotels & Resorts, offer their guests superior gastronomy, with a choice of themed restaurants, each with its particular themed menu and ambience.
As a Restaurant Supervisor you will be the Restaurant Manager’s right hand and a key member of the F&B team that contributes to the memorable dining experience that Kanika guests always look forward to.
By helping the team maintain high standards of quality and service, you will ensure that your guests enjoy every meal – and your efforts will be recognized and rewarded.
What we expect from you:
• Supervise pre-opening team members for the preparation of the restaurant.
• Manage staff and provide them with feedback.
• Respond to customer complaints and provide solutions.
• Help in any area of the restaurant where needed.
• Ensure the implementation of standard operating procedures and policies.
• Provide guidance and direction to station leaders, head hostess, buffet keepers and dispense bars personnel.
• Assist guests when they prepare to leave, and say goodbye.
• Supervise waiters’ adherence to timetable and breaks.
• Implement high standards of health and safety, and adhere to company procedures and policies.
• Check and report stock levels and supplies that need to be ordered (requisition).

Qualifications and Experience:
• Leaving Certificate from a High School or Technical School
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Character distinguished by courtesy and positive attitude towards customer service
• A person who communicates well and has a genuine smile
