European University Cyprus is currently seeking a skilled and team-oriented International Admissions Advisor. The successful candidate will assist and guide prospective international students throughout the admissions process, ensuring a smooth transition to the university. Additionally, the role involves actively supporting the university’s international recruitment efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential students and their families, providing accurate and timely information regarding programs of study, educational opportunities, admissions requirements, policies, and other relevant matters through various communication channels (e.g., email, phone, webinars, fairs).
  • Guide prospective students through the admissions process, including the implementation of international student admission procedures, completion of applications, and submission of necessary documents (e.g., transcripts, visas).
  • Provide students with relevant information on campus resources and living arrangements.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including Financial Aid, Student Affairs, and International Student Services, to ensure a seamless experience for international students.
  • Actively participate in and represent the university at recruitment events, such as educational fairs and forums.
  • Maintain strong relationships with a network of agents, keeping them updated on the university’s policies, admission requirements, and developments.
  • Support the implementation of business development plans for specific international markets.
  • Work towards achieving set sales targets aligned with the university’s organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide updates and progress reports to the admissions team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Counselling, International Relations, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in admissions, student advising, or international recruiting.
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite; proficiency in one or more additional foreign languages is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Sales-oriented and target-driven.
  • Experience in sales (preferably in international education) will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.
