Job Description:

Don Carlo Italian Restaurant is seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our establishment. If you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests, we’d love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
• Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and manage reservations.
• Maintain a neat and organized front-of-house area.
• Coordinate with waiting staff and kitchen to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in maintaining guest satisfaction and addressing any concerns politely and professionally.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
• Well-groomed appearance and a positive, energetic attitude.
• Ability to manage a reservation system and seating plan.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Good knowledge of English is required for guest interactions.
• EU citizen or an EU work permit holder
