Akelius Foundation is currently looking for qualified and enthusiastic teaching professional to join our team as a Greek language teacher,
providing non-formal education to children and adults with refugee background.

This is a full-time position based in Nicosia.

 

responsibilities

  • teach migrant and refugee children and adults in various NGOs
  • plan, prepare and deliver lessons
  • contribute to the creation of engaging teaching materials for different Greek levels (A1-C2)

 

requirements

  • degree in Greek Philology, Greek Language and Literature or Linguistics, or equivalent degree, or qualifications in Teaching Greek as a Second/ Foreign Language
  • fluent in English
  • previous teaching experience in Greek as a second/foreign language

 

  • excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • strong sense of initiative and self-motivation
  • flexible, enthusiastic and eager to learn from others
