About Us

NovaMechanics (NovaM) is an SME based  in Cyprus and Greece with over 10 years of experience in R&D projects. NovaM focuses on developing scientific solutions and software tools in the fields of chem/bio/nano informatics, simulation, and medicinal & materials chemistry. The company’s current staff consists of 24 members, 14 of whom hold a PhD. NovaM applies state-of-the-art mathematical techniques to create, implement, and interpret validated predictive models for big data analysis, computer-aided drug discovery, and materials science. NovaM’s goal is to increase profitability, reduce risk, and decrease experimental costs in the process of designing and producing new materials or drugs by conceiving new modeling ideas and designing and performing simulations, testing, and validation procedures.

NovaMechanics’ product range includes: (i) Isalos Analytics Platform: make machine learning (ML) so simple that a business analyst with basic training can built and run predictive models. Isalos helps companies across industries develop and deploy in-house ML models to identify patterns and make predictions without needing explicit programming. (ii) Enalos Cloud Platform: The company has significant experience in the development of web applications to enable labs and industrial companies to easily launch modeling, data analysis, image analysis and simulation tasks on flexible cloud computing resources, to lower the barriers to entry to complex scientific calculations. Through Enalos Cloud Platform the in house in silico workflows can be made available online through web services with the purpose to make NovaMechanics’ predictive models available to the interested user wishing to generate evidence on potential effects in a decision making framework, (iii) Enalos Suite that can package any predictive model developed by NovaMechanics in a completely custom made, platform independent, standalone software and (iv) Enalos+ nodes for KNIME analytics platform which offer a wide range of cheminformatics, bioinformatics and nanoinformatics functionalities into KNIME to enhance the solution of big data analysis, personalized medicine, clinical trials, computer aided drug discovery and material science problems, (v) tools for the calculation of structure based theoretical nanodescriptors and molecular descriptors.
