UCLan Cyprus University is seeking experienced part-time Associate Lecturers to contribute to teaching and CPD professional training as of September 2024, in the following areas:
1. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT
- Accounting Information Systems (SAP, E-Soft, Eurosoft, Powersoft)
- Marketing
- Business Management
- Hospitality and Tourism
- English Literature
- English for Academic Purposes
- Project and Operations Management
- Entrepreneurship & Innovation
- HR and Coaching
2. SCHOOL OF LAW
- Public International Law and/or Human Rights
- Financial and/or Banking Law
- Commercial and Investment Contracts
- Cyprus Civil and Commercial Procedure
3. SCHOOL OF SCIENCES
Engineering
- Electronic Engineering Practice, Digital Systems, Power Systems, Electronic Systems Applications, Signals and Control.
Web Development
- UX/UI and Interaction Design (preferably with knowledge and experience in Adobe XD & Figma).
- Graphic Design and Graphic Communication (preferably with knowledge and experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign).
Media Production
- Television Studio Production (preferably with experience in Television Production, Television Programme Production, Television Studio Broadcasting, Multi-camera Studio Operation and Formats and Outside Broadcast).
- Multimedia Production (preferably with experience in Adobe After Effects (motion graphics) and Adobe Animate (animation, interactive content creation)).
- Post-Production (preferably with experience in Adobe After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve (colour grading, VFX)).
- Audio Production (preferably with experience in Adobe Audition, studio and field audio equipment, and recording and editing audio).
Mathematics
- Statistics: General Statistics, Non-parametric Statistics, Survey Methodology, Computational Statistics, Time Series, Operational Research.
- Applied Mathematics: Mechanics, Differential Equations.
Computing
- Software Engineering: Software Development, UML, Software Methodologies, Computer Programming.
- Computer Networks: Network Routing, Cloud Computing.
- Computer Security: Cybersecurity, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Defence, Information Security Management.
- Data Analytics: Exploratory Data Analysis.
Sport and Exercise Science
- Advanced Principles of Exercise and Training.
It is desirable that applicants for the positions of Associate Lecturers have a PhD; however, this is not an essential qualification when they have a Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications, e.g. ACCA, CISCO.
Applicants should have teaching experience at university level and some years of industry practitioners’ experience.
The salary range is normally €30-40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications; CPD professional fees will apply for certain professionals that will be involved in high profile training programmes.
Heads of School welcome cooperation with experienced research fellows who can join initiatives across research and knowledge transfer activities.
