The Client: 

Renaissance Insurance Brokers, an MDS GROUP company, the leading Risk Management & Business Insurance brokerage in Cyprus, Lloyd’s Broker and partner of the global broking network Brokerslink, is excited to announce that it is growing its Insurance Broking team with new Insurance Brokers.

 

The Position:

We are looking to recruit on their behalf 2 Insurance Brokers.  The successful candidates will have a unique opportunity to become involved in the international insurance world, including the insurance market of Lloyd’s of London, and work in the most creative environment of the Cyprus insurance industry.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

The succesfull candidate will be reporting to the department’s Practice Leader and following a 6-month specialist training, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Research & Development for new services and prospective clients
• Risk Management analysis for new clients
• Communication with underwriters and clients for the placement of insurance covers
• Assistance in the day-to-day operation of various insurance facilities and relationships with insurers
• Co-ordination of special projects

 

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

• Undergraduate Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Risk Management or Engineering.
• MBA or Postgraduate Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business or Risk Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in any industry. Previous experience in Insurance or Risk will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent command of the English language is a must.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and organization skills.
• Desire for continuous personal development and a genuine appetite to learn.
• Passion for excellence.

 

Location:

The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

 

Remuneration:
