POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor, Property Services assists in the management of the Property Services department and all systems/areas of responsibility assigned to him/her. Focuses in supporting all operating departments, provides services as required to the entire operation and ensures all maintenance is carried out efficiently. Also, ensures that life safety systems throughout the entire property are, at all times, at pick performance and maintained to the highest standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists in the day to day management of the Property Services Team including Shift Scheduling based on requirements
  • Assists in maintaining accurate records and monitors closely all operating expenses to ensure that the budget is adhered to and costs strictly controlled
  • Submit monthly Utilities Consumption Reports on time with highest accuracy
  • Assists the Senior Supervisor in maintaining a comprehensive library of manuals and parts list of all operational equipment, as well as a complete set of up to date drawings of all areas and systems
  • Is fully responsible for the operations and maintenance of all Life Safety system; regularly reviews life safety procedures with Security department. Ensures that all maintenance service of life safety systems is carried out accordingly with highest standards
  • Ensures all regular planned maintenance programs to all E&M systems, guestrooms, public areas, Heart of House are carried out accordingly with highest standards. Ensures that the building, grounds, landscape and gardens, road surfaces and car park are inspected regularly as per standards
  • Ensures departmental training programs are conducted and carried out in accordance with our master training plan to all employees for them to perform their duties with maximum efficiency
  • Ensures that employees attend all training and know their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s policies relating to Fire, Safety, Hygiene, and Health
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 3-4 years working experience from a 5-star hotel or large commercial property, industry building, shopping center in a similar capacity

Education:  

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical or other rated disciplines.
  • Health and Safety knowledge and background.

Skills/Competencies:  

  • Good command in both written and spoken Greek and English
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Central Chillers and HVAC systems, High Tension Switch Board, transformers and Generators, Control circuits and Audio-Visual Systems
  • Good working knowledge of Fire Alarm and Fire Protection Systems, ELV systems, Steam and Hot Water Boilers, Plumbing & Drainage Systems, Water Treatment Program, Pool, Spa and Fitness Equipment and any other related systems
  • Good working knowledge of computers and use of all MS Office applications, including Outlook and PowerPoint presentation
  • Preferably with AutoCAD drafting skills and other applications, such as, Jobs Order System, Engineering Maintenance Program and Purchasing System
  • Good leadership and able to make sound decision and perform other duties as and when required very last minute and at time of emergency
  • Excellent interpersonal/presentation skills are required to deal effectively with all levels of staffs, contractors, suppliers and vendors
  • Hands-on and possess good problem-solving skills and attention to details
  • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Frequently/Occasional ascending or descending ladders and/or ramps and ability to work in high rise site
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
