POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supervisor, Database Administration is responsible for establishing the education platform for all programs and standard operational procedures across the Casino Marketing business units.

The Supervisor is also responsible for the maintenance, integrity, and the security of the membership database, technical, system and various administrative tasks related to the Casino Marketing department. Supervise his/ her team members to achieve timely results and objectives set.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Operational

Supports the operation team on administrative tasks and system maintenance supervising his team to accommodate requests including:

  • Maintains and develops Business development coding process and requests
  • Casino Marketing Users access configuration
  • Casino Marketing comp access level
  • Comp matrix configuration
  • Reports generation and database administration
  • Develops User Interface using available software or existing functionalities of Microsoft tools (Macros, queries etc) to assist operational teams to achieve their tasks and goals
  • Liaises with CRM specialist to deliver an OMNI channel approach to different BUs
  • Loyalty points Adjustment
  • Creates Proforma Analysis
  • Develops campaigns, sms and outbound sales lists
  • Analyses Database and performs segmentation analysis for Marketing BUs using different KPIs and criteria set
  • Monitors KPIs and delivers relevant reports
  • Assists in Marketing plan and budget

Systems

  • Responsible for System configuration & maintenance of Casino Marketing Systems, Database and Promotions
  • Liaises with Accounting for proper allocation of costs within Marketing Department
  • Performs UAT in cooperation with BU’s of all new casino systems / enhancements before deployment to operations / Go Live

Training

  • Liaises with Loyalty Marketing, Business Development, Business process and Casino Marketing to create a learning and development platform for Casino Marketing to include all training, education and developmental programs related to casino systems
  • Produces and updates the annual training calendar for Casino Marketing related to casino systems

SOP

  • Liaises with Business Process and assist Marketing Compliance to maintain and prepare the Departmental Operational Manual and SOP of Casino Marketing
  • Establishes the operational procedures for database administration to ensure the membership database is well maintained and accurate

Key Performance Indicators

  • Quality of reports and data delivered

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Managerial role within System and Admin preferable in the gaming industry
  • Knowledge in membership loyalty program and casino systems will be consider as a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, BI, Programming, Data Analysis, or any other relevant field that involves critical thinking and Database administration

    Proficient in PC knowledge (MS Office)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Access, Tableu, Query creation, VB, Macros
  • Knowledge and understanding of games’ rules and relevant gaming regulations is advantageous
  • Knowledge in gaming system
