Job Description

The Pafos Innovation Institute is an international higher educational institution and innovation centre based in the centre of Pafos. A joint venture between IDC Herzliya and the Pafos Municipality, we are committed to excellence in education and innovation, including through providing quality postgraduate degree programs and professional courses. Our goal is to educate future leaders from the Eastern Mediterranean region and prepare them for exciting careers in business and society.

The position reports directly to the Dean of Students, who has oversight for leading and driving a student-centred culture on campus. The portfolio supports the Institute’s objectives to provide sector-leading student recruitment and engagement practices to ensure our students feel well supported on their learning journey while developing a lifelong connection to the student community and the city of Pafos.

About this opportunity

As the Student Administration Officer, you will provide friendly, helpful, accurate and informative advice to students and staff. The role centres on supporting future students for all non-academic enquiries.

The successful candidate will join a small team committed to creating an inclusive international student community and be responsible for completing a diverse range of administrative tasks, many associated with day-to-day problem resolution and maintenance of organisational systems.

To be successful, you will have:

•Proficient knowledge of English and Greek.

•A university degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training and/or experience.

•Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.

•High level of motivation and a proactive, ‘can-do’ work attitude.

•Proven experience in customer service delivery. Experience working with students would be an advantage but is not required.

•Demonstrated excellence in the use of inclusive approaches to the provision of services based on a thorough understanding of customer needs.

You must reside in Pafos, or be willing to work on-campus in Pafos, and have unrestricted work rights in Cyprus.
