What will your job look like?

Accountable to the Manager of Procurement:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement, from strategy to contract realization; procure products, equipment, and services as necessary; act as the interface between the company and its suppliers
  • Build relationships with reliable suppliers; negotiate for best prices, quality, and delivery capabilities, and advise the company on the best solution
  • Observe the correct buying protocols; manage the purchase orders and coordinate with vendors on delivery/receipt of consignments
  • Manage cost control
  • Maintain relevant documentation, reports, and systems
  • Liaise with internal departments on requirements and stock levels; manage the relationship with Finance, Warehouse, and internal customers
  • Manage the company vehicle fleet, to ensure a safe, secure, and cost-effective fleet

All you need is…

  • Educated to a degree level will be considered an advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage
  • Proven track record of strong negotiation skills is mandatory
  • Ability to manage vendors, and to act as a consultant to the company
  • Proven experience of building constructive relationships with other departments
  • Solid understanding of cost control
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several activities simultaneously; capacity to deliver results under time pressure
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent command of both spoken/written Greek and English language is a must
  • Very good computer skills in MS Office
