Job Description


The Operations Officer, F&B is responsible for supervising and coordinating the flow of information between the F&B department and all other department relevant to F&B Operations


  • Keeps ownership of the POS software, users’ rights, menus changes, reports, and updates.
  • Effectively manages project work delegated by senior management. Examples include but are not limited to price surveys, function coordination and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) updates
  • Provides administrative support to line manager, and to the F&B team in general, ensuring familiarity with all relevant administrative procedures and documentation
  • Provides support to the Department to achieve financial goals by preparing accurate reports and highlighting costs that need to be reviewed
  • Collates all menu submissions and supervises their production
  • Provides periodical updates and circulars to relevant personnel to ensure that F&B activities are appropriately represented across the property
  • Assists with providing creative input for food and beverage planning
  • Collates all F&B venue promotional projects, liaises with relevant departments to ensure that promotions are executed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Establishes and maintains a strong rapport with F&B employees ensuring the provision of professional, timely and accurate service
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality
  • Enthusiastically supports, promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with company standards
  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures
  • Reports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisors
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time



  • Minimum 5 years in F&B Operations and 2 years in an Administrative role preferably in a five-star Hotel/F&B Organization


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality management, Business Administration or relevant would be an advantage
  • Candidates without a degree but with solid working experience will also be considered


  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent command of English and Greek with business writing skills
