Java Developer

We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Java Developers with a strong foundation in Java and hands-on experience in developing applications using Spring Boot to join our vibrant software development team. The ideal candidates will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and beyond, including troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise. This position requires a commitment to continuous learning, an understanding of software development principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with the team to conceptualize, develop, and launch new features.
• Actively support daily operational issues, troubleshoot, and implement fixes to ensure minimal disruption to end users.
• Understand and implement software development methodologies and life cycles.
• Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects in software applications.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development practices.
• Participate in team meetings, providing insightful input and ideas, especially related to operational support and issue resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework is highly desirable.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with database technologies.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a particular focus on resolving daily operational issues.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
