POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head, Security Operations conducts risk management assessment by overseeing the security operation of the organization and providing protection to staff and guests. This includes planning, budgeting and leadership of the overall Security team and for ensuring the safety of all staff, guests and assets.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•    Prepares a strategic plan in consultation with the Property President on the assessment of risk when it comes to the organization’s assets, (people & equipment) as well as the security operation.  This includes but not limit to – improvements in property control, emergency management and guard against potential undesirable elements.
•    Creates risk management policies to effectively cover asset protection and security operations within established regulatory framework
•    Oversees the development and implementation of solutions for Security Operations across MELCO properties in Cyprus. Provide leadership and direction to Security reports and maintain a consistent standard of security control.
•    Suggests and manages the asset protection budgets and key performance indicators
•    Liaises with external agencies and other departments to establish lines of communication and maintains good rapport
•    Oversees and assists when required in investigations, keeps management informed of progress and presents recommendations based on evidence collected
•    Adheres to all company policies and procedures
•    Assists in report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments. Ensuring appropriate standards are in place for the training, monitoring and strategic response to workplace safety.
•    Oversee the management of the security systems that secure the facilities across MELCO properties in Cyprus. Ensure that a high level of support is provided to all Departments and external partners.
•    Implementation of world class customer service programs across all security personnel.
•    Performs other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:  
Education & Experience
•    Extensive Security Management Experience
•    Casino Security experience
•    Experience leading a large inter-property team
•    Demonstrated understanding of the Casino Security function
•    Fluency in Greek is essential
•    Excellent English language skills (written and spoken) essential
•    Pre-opening/ opening experience
