Full Stack Developer – Delivery International Team

We are excited to announce additional position is now available for a Full Stack Developer with knowledge on one of many programming languages (SQL, Java, Cx, C/C++) and technologies such as (Oracle PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, REST API).

The Delivery International team is responsible for successfully implementing major projects undertaken by the company, both commercially and internally, with our growing worldwide client base. We undertake projects for new clients and implement them in the cloud (AWS) or at the client premises. Moreover, we handle the implementation of new projects for existing clients, such as upgrades, migration, new development, and support for new features.

Our Software Engineers/Developers are involved in most of the product development stages, such as design, development, implementation, and support. In addition, they have the opportunity to:

  • Design, deliver, and be the custodian of large-scale solutions, while implementing your creations with international engineering colleagues.
  • Lead workstreams that design major value-adding projects for the company which embrace major players of the banking industry in Latin America.
  • Drive cutting-edge technology by exploring concepts on AWS Amazon cloud, CI/CD tools, Jenkins automations, Kubernetes, GIT code repositories, Java development and Docker.
  • Belong to a culturally diverse team with team members in 4 different countries. We work collaboratively in an environment that best supports new joiners!
  • Travel at client premises including Latin America e.g. Brazil, Mexico and Caribbean.
  • Remote work, Flexibility to work from home.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing code independently and with cooperation with the Team Leader using various tools and owning responsibility for quality assurance of their development
  • Reviews deliverables for content, accuracy, and potential system impacts for assigned tasks. Reviews deliverables for alignment with objectives and provides feedback and recommendations.
  • Experience in end-to-end project implementation delivery and awareness of SDLC
  • Root cause analysis of issues in all the phases of a project
  • Problem solving and client support
  • Project implementation at client premises or on Amazon Cloud (AWS)
  • Communicating and enforcing coding standards.
  • Interacts with a diverse range of team, including project managers, senior management, and clients for successful implementation of given solutions

 

Essential requirements for the role:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience with software designing, coding, and testing.
  • Educated to degree level (e.g. BSc, MSc, B Tech) in an IT related subject such as Computer Science or MIS.
  • Knowledge of Database Concepts and SQL.

 

If you have one of the following skills, or a combination of skills, we may have a role to suit you:

  • Database Development skills, preferably in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • REST API, ASP.NET and/or HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript.
  • Java, Cx, C/C++.

 

The following skills would be advantageous:

  • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux Operating Systems.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology (e.g., AWS).
  • Knowledge of working with version control tools such as SVN and Git.

 

Other requirements:

  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Spanish language will be considered an advantage.
  • Flexibility to travel to client premises and undertake payment scheme certifications, onsite installation and client training, user acceptance testing support, act as floor walker and software expert during client visitations.
