The Destination Wedding Planner plans and manages the national and international Wedding Segment. Responsible in achieving budgeted numbers, the wedding positioning, and the expectations. She/he co-ordinates and prioritizes wedding events and their activities in accordance with the Company standards.


  • Liaises and builds relationships between the Company and the Vendors
  • Proactively builds relationships with wedding planners (international and local), attends bridal shows and other platforms to position City of Dreams – Mediterranean as a preferred wedding venue
  • Responsible for innovation around new wedding trends and suggests new offerings to management for implementation
  • Manages the presence on digital wedding planner sites
  • Sets KPI’s in terms of confirmed weekly activities- proactive sales goals along with number of confirmed weddings
  • Communicates with Clients determining their budget and needs ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded
  • Uses expert knowledge about weddings and guides the clients with creativity and new ideas for them. Establishes rapport with guests and clients in maintaining good customer relationships.
  • Works and manages wedding coordinators to ensure the events are executed and orchestrated as requested and approved by the Resort Sales Management and the clients
  • Keeps track of all events, preparing weekly activity summary and reports the status
  • Keeps an accurate account of invoices and orders
  • Works closely with relevant Departments such as Marketing, F&B, Housekeeping for smooth execution
  • Manages the breakdown of each Events
  • Performs all relevant administrative duties as required by the Management, with the preparation of various forms, budget reviews and other reports
  • Ensures constructive and productive working relationships and the timely and accurate dissemination of information is maintained
  • Contributes to ideas and initiatives to the greatest extent possible, strong negotiation skills with both suppliers and clients
  • Provides ad-hoc assistance to the Department when needed
  • Aims to achieve the Company Sales Vision with set KPI’s
  • Documents all sales actions in the CRM system
  • Understands and strictly adheres to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety
  • Adheres to all Company policies and procedures



  • Wedding Planning experience of minimum 3 years preferably in a large Organization within the Hotel Industry


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or any other related field

Skills / Competencies

  • Mature presentation style and be comfortable interacting with senior management and VIP Clients
  • Excellent command of English, Greek and other languages will be considered as an advantage
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint
  • Must have superior negotiation skills
  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and an aptitude for very high pressure on the spot decisions
  • Ability to keep up with a fast paced and growing business
  • Must have a strong analytical and economics mindset
