Job Overview

We are seeking a CTO (Chief Technology Offer), with around 7+ years of leadership experience in progressive tech companies and at least 5 years of management experience. The CTO will be responsible for outlining the company’s technological vision, proactively introducing improvements into Technology roadmap, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company’s business needs. The CTO will create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services and will make executive decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements, keeping the Management Board aligned on them as well as maintaining a customer-centric outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market. The CTO works effectively with all levels of the organization and beyond, including Management Board, Supervisory Board, investors etc

 

About the client

One of the leading brokers globally with 20 years of operations – offering a wide range of trading and investing-related products & services. We o er investment services for trading with Forex and CFDs on indices, metals, energies, stocks, bonds, and digital currencies. Trading will always be a core business but as we take the next steps in growing, we will expand our product range and add different services, transforming into a full spectrum personal finance provider.

The CTO makes all executive decisions about the technological interests of a company. This person is responsible for outlining the company’s technological vision, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring that the technological resources are aligned with the company’s business needs.

 

As CTO you will:

  • Set a vision for how technology will be used in the company
  • Ensure that technological resources meet the company’s short and long-term needs
  •  Outline the goals for research and development and coordinate their implementation
  •  Create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services
  •  Make executive decisions on behalf of the company’s technological requirements and keep Management Board aligned on them
  •  Maintain a customer-centric outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market
  • Manage technology budgets and time frames
  • Stay on top of technology trends and developments and proactively introduce improvements into Technology roadmap
  • Ensure all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards
  • Work effectively with all levels of an organization and beyond, including
  • Management Board, Supervisory Board, investors etc
  •  Be a mentor to team members

 

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar eld
  • Fluent English language skills both written and verbal.
  • Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in progressive technology companies
  • 5+ years of Management experience
  • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future
  • Advanced use of modern computer software (Microsoft Suite) used for daily work-related activities.
  • Readiness to learn to use new programs and software
