Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the activities of the Company to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, directives and circulars issued by CySEC and EU;
  • Monitoring the implementation of the procedures described in the Company’s Procedure Manual;
  • Updating the policies and procedures of the Company in order to be compliant with the applicable regulatory framework as amended from time to time;
  • Provide support for the implementation of the customer acceptance policy of the Company, including performance of the “know your client” and client transaction monitoring procedures established by the Company;
  • Monitor clients’ and employees’ trading activities from AML/CFT, Sanctions and Market Abuse perspective;
  • Perform sanctions monitoring and control procedures;
  • Monitor all communications with clients and counterparties in relation to Compliance matters;
  • Monitor partners’ and sales’ activities, if applicable;
  • Provide support in the implementation of internal control procedures;
  • Report to the Head of Risk & Compliance of the Company;
  • Handle ad-hock tasks as assigned by the Head of Risk & Compliance;
  • Provide supporting documentation to internal and external auditors, including CySEC and other governing bodies, upon request.

Requirements

  • University or postgraduate degree or other equivalent qualification in a field related to economics or finance, including banking and finance, or business administration, or accounting
  • Holder of CySEC Certification (AML and Advanced level)
  • Professional experience in financial sector (especially trading experience)
  • Knowledge of the provisions of MiFIDII/MiFIR, AML, and MAR.
  • Language proficiency: Russian and English, Greek is a plus
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, good organizational and time management skills
  • Technical proficiency: MS Office, Internet, email, back office related systems are a plus
