The English School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following post starting September 2021:

Administrative Assistant, Alumni Relations Office

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Media and Communication, Business Administration or related fields

•Social media management or social media marketing certificate or proven experience (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok)

•2+ years of experience in marketing or alumni relations, or similar roles, preferably in a services environment; education or higher education experience preferred

•Strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship-building skills; business acumen; strong judgment and initiative; organization, follow-through, and execution capabilities

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English, and attention to detail

•Excellent computer skills required including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

Job Description

•Executes alumni focused activities

•Publishes quarterly alumni e-newsletter and other electronic or printed promotional material

•Plans and executes alumni events

•Creates and develops alumni email campaigns for general alumni communications

•Grows and builds alumni membership in the password-protected alumni portal; evaluates new technology solutions for the portal and implements changes to the platform as needed

•Maintains accurate, up-to-date database of alumni

•Surveys and analyses alumni data in support of the School’s development strategies and program growth goals

•Coordinates the alumni budget; tracks and submits related invoices/expense reports; and provides regular budget updates to the Alumni Relations Officer

•In collaboration with the Alumni Relations Officer, manages alumni programs presence on social media including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter as well as the associated execution strategies to maximize audience engagement.

•Promoting the alumni community to current students.

•Assisting in the preparation of reports, proposals, and analysis for BoD/Management.

•Any other administrative duties related to the role and as directed by the Alumni Relations Officer
