Job Summary:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our HR department and manage our full-cycle recruiting processes.

 

Talent Acquisition Specialist responsibilities include identifying current and future hiring needs and advertising job openings online. To be successful in this role, you should have an HR academic background along with work experience in sourcing, interviewing and evaluating candidates.

 

Ultimately, you will help us build a strong employer brand and ensure we provide a positive candidate experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Successfully review job descriptions in order to understand the needs of the hiring manager as well to ask questions that’ll help identify the right candidate(s)
  • Identify, source and headhunt potential candidates through innovative sourcing strategies and latest trends
  • Search for candidates in all relevant sources (internal candidate database, LinkedIn, etc.) and approach passive candidates (headhunting) when necessary
  • Meet candidates in person, telephone, or video conference to assess their qualifications
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to be competitive and creative with sourcing initiatives
  • Identify and participate in job fairs and open houses and represent the organization at various events related to their functions
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, universities, employees and social media
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout recruitment and interview process

 

Requirements:

  • University degree or certificate in Human Resources or relevant experience
  • 2+ years’ experience in recruitment in a fast-paced and growing industry
  • Experience sourcing candidates through various channels including social media and utilizing Boolean search would be an asset
  • Ideally has a mix of corporate and agency recruitment experience
  • Demonstrated achievement in sourcing and recruiting for hard-to-find resources
  • Previous experience with Greenhouse would be an asset
  • Fluent in English
