Senior PHP Developer (UPC333)

We are currently looking for a talented Senior PHP Developer for one of our major clients in the Hospitality sector.

The position is on-site in Athens, Greece or Nicosia, Cyprus.

Scope:

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer with Laravel experience to join our team. The successful candidate will work with our team to build and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel framework.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the production environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other team members.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation.
• Keep up to date with the latest web technologies and programming languages.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Senior Laravel Developer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of the Laravel PHP framework.
• Strong understanding of VueJS JavaScript Framework.
• Solid understanding of HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control tools, such as Git.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Linux.
• Laravel certification.
• Experience on RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit.
