The Position:

MFO Asset Management Ltd operating in Nicosia, Cyprus is seeking to recruit an Investment Analyst.

 

The Company:

The Company is an AIF and UCITS Management Company, also authorized to offer Portfolio Management and Investment Advice services to individual clients.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, the successful candidate will be a member of the Investment Management Team and will have responsibility for the management of funds/portfolios managed by the Company.  This includes:

  • Identification of eligible investment opportunities as per the approved investment policy.
  • Financial due diligence of eligible investment opportunities as per the investment strategy of each fund/portfolio.
  • Monitoring of selected investments in accordance with the approved investment policy, performance targets and risk profile of each fund/portfolio.
  • Conducting portfolio analysis and preparing client reports.
  • Assist in the provision of investment advice to clients in accordance with the applicable legislative and regulatory framework.
  • Perform research and assist in the preparation of the Company’s Investment Outlook and periodic market briefings.
  • Other relevant or internal administration duties depending on the needs of the Company.

 

Skills – Qualifications – Experience:

  • University Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or any other related field.
  • Holder or willing to study towards the CySEC Advanced certification.
  • Holder or studying towards obtaining a professional qualification, such as the CFA, will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in a similar position or in a related function in the financial services industry for a maximum of 2 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both oral and written.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork attitude.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel with general Microsoft Office skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Analytical, problem-solving approach.
  • Highest ethical standards, integrity, and discipline.
